With only 10 days left, I get to hike back up to MPLS to go to a interview for a way cool organization I'm double crossing my fingers for. The Lord is working in awesome ways and we've deticated this to the Lord.
Today we got our travel information, vouchers etc. I was so pleased. At the same time we got new pictures of Nibagore, a girl we're supporting in Rwanda. She's graduating 1st grade this year. I saw her picture and I was taken back not only by how old she looked for being in 1st grade compared to her last picture....but also, just how sad or angry she looked.
When I opened up the letter, enclosed was a typed note informing me that my "compassion child's mother passed away." I just sent her a letter yesterday talking about how excited I was for the wedding...So I wrote via the compassion website hoping that will get to her before the other 'wedding' one does... She now is living with her grandmother. Please be praying for her. I'm not sure if she's a believer and I'm praying she can find Christ in all of this.
